DobroChat — Terms of Service
Effective date: August 30, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of DobroChat (“the App”), an application for Shopify stores that provides an omnichannel messaging inbox. The App connects messaging channels — Telegram, Viber, Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct — to a Shopify store, so that a merchant and their staff can reply to customers, share products, and send order and delivery updates from one place.
By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install the App, or uninstall it from your Shopify admin.
1. Who may use the App
The App is provided to merchants who operate a Shopify store, and to the staff members that merchant authorises in their Shopify admin. You are responsible for the actions of every staff member you grant access to.
2. Connecting messaging channels
You connect each channel yourself and you remain its owner. For Telegram and Viber you supply a bot token; for Facebook Messenger and Instagram you authorise the App through Meta’s own login flow and select which Page or professional account it may access.
- You may disconnect any channel at any time in the App’s Settings. Disconnecting revokes the App’s access to that channel.
- You are responsible for complying with the rules of each messaging platform you connect, including their policies on what may be sent to people and when.
- Credentials you provide are stored encrypted and are used only to send and receive messages for your own store.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or contact people who have not opted in;
- send content that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent who is sending a message;
- attempt to gain access to data belonging to another merchant, or to interfere with the operation of the service.
We may suspend access if the App is used in a way that violates these Terms or the rules of a connected messaging platform.
4. Automated replies and AI features
The App can send automated replies — scenario answers, out-of-hours messages, order and delivery notifications — and can draft replies with an AI provider you configure. You decide whether to enable each of these.
- Automated content is generated from your own settings and store data. You remain responsible for what is sent to your customers under your business name.
- AI-drafted replies are shown to your staff for review. Where automatic sending is enabled, you are responsible for reviewing the outcome and disabling it if it does not suit your business.
5. Pricing and billing
Paid plans are billed exclusively through Shopify’s own billing system. We never ask for or handle your card details. You can change or cancel your plan at any time in the App; charges follow Shopify’s billing rules and appear on your Shopify invoice.
Message history retention depends on your plan. If you move to a plan with shorter retention, older messages become subject to the shorter period after a short grace interval.
6. Your data
How we collect, store and delete data — including conversations, contacts and the personal data of your customers — is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: the data belongs to you and your customers, we process it to operate the App for you, and it is deleted when you uninstall or when a deletion request is made.
7. Availability and third-party services
The App depends on services we do not control — Shopify, Telegram, Viber, Meta, and the AI provider you configure. Interruptions or changes on their side can affect the App. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and messages may fail to send if a connected platform rejects them or its rules change.
8. Liability
The App is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business, arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. On uninstall, your data is retained for a short grace period so that a reinstall restores your workspace, and is then permanently deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App changes. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
